    You will see recovered cash within 45 days after you accept our Estimated Error Report (ERR) and authorize us to proceed.
  4. Will ValuMax™ cause problems with our Payers?
    No. ValuMax™ services are designed as a virtual, transparent extension of your Patient Accounts Department. We understand and are highly sensitive to the importance of your relationship with your payers. All payments are sent directly to you from your payers.
  5. Is ValuMax™ a collection agency?
    No.
  6. How quickly can ValuMax™ start working on my accounts?
    As soon as you provide the required information and account data.
  7. How do I get my account data to ValuMax™?
    You upload all your data to our 128-bit SSL encrypted, HIPAA compliant FTP server.
  8. Are special data formats required?
    We will provide specific data layout formats. In general, we accept data in any of the following formats:
    • HIPAA 837 & 835 formats
    • UB Print Image Files for Inpatient and Outpatient accounts
    • Delimited files
    • File storage formats (fee may apply)
    • Clients’ systems generated formats (fee may apply)
  9. Am I required to send all accounts?
    No. The decision is yours.
  10. Does ValuMax™ expedite Medicare and Medicaid accounts?
    ValuMax™ expertise is specialized and focused on the managed care risk-based, non-government payer-contracts. This includes Medicare contracted HMO/PPO and Medicaid HMO/PPO payers.
  11. How much will ValuMax™ services cost my hospital?
    Most ValuMax™ services are offered on a contingency fee basis.
